These terms govern your use of polygon-explorer.org, its language versions and its free tools (together, “the site”). If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.
1. Information only, no advice
The site provides general information about Polygon block explorers, the Polygon networks and how to read on-chain data. Nothing on the site is financial, investment, legal or tax advice, and nothing is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any cryptoasset. Rankings and scores reflect our editorial opinion of explorer software, not of any token or investment. Make your own decisions and, where appropriate, consult a qualified professional.
2. The tools and third-party data
Our live explorer and other tools display data retrieved directly by your browser from third-party sources, including Blockscout, public JSON-RPC providers, the Polygon Heimdall API and CoinGecko. We don't control these sources. Data may be delayed, incomplete, temporarily unavailable or wrong, and USD values are estimates based on market price feeds. The tools are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability.
Before relying on any result for an important decision, such as releasing goods against a payment, verify it on a second independent explorer. Our results link to PolygonScan, Blockscout and OKLink for that purpose.
3. Your responsibilities
You agree to use the site lawfully and not to interfere with it, for example by automated scraping at a volume that degrades the service, attempting to break its security, or using it to deceive others. You're solely responsible for your own wallets, keys and transactions. Blockchain transactions are irreversible, and we can't recover funds or reverse transfers.
Shared receipt links show public blockchain data. Presenting them in a misleading way, or altering printed or saved receipts, is your responsibility and may be illegal.
4. Partner links and external websites
The site contains links to external websites, including explorers, documentation and a licensed partner exchange. Some links, marked as calls to action, are partner links for which we may receive a commission. External sites are operated by third parties with their own terms and privacy policies. We aren't responsible for their content, products or services, and a link doesn't mean we endorse everything on that site. Using a partner's services is a matter between you and that partner; cryptoasset services may not be available or legal in your country.
5. Intellectual property
The texts, design, graphics and code of the site are protected by copyright and belong to us or our licensors. You may quote short excerpts with attribution and a link to the source page. Copying whole articles, republishing our content or presenting it as your own requires our written permission. Names and logos of Polygon, explorers and other companies belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify them; we aren't affiliated with or endorsed by them.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or its tools, or from reliance on any information or data shown, including losses from transactions, trading, scams, errors in third-party data or service interruptions. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited under applicable law, such as liability for intent or gross negligence.
7. Changes
We may update the site, its tools and these terms at any time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
